Jeff Klein, EdD
Jeffrey R. Klein, Ed.D. (University of Delaware), CRESP Associate Director, plays a leadership role in project planning, sample recruitment, instrument development, data collection and management, data analyses, and production of reports and manuscripts for CRESP projects, including NSF-funded programs and evaluations for the Delaware Department of Education. Prior to working at the University of Delaware, he was the Coordinator of Research, Development and Evaluation at Appoquinimink School District. During his time at Appoquinimink, he served as a member of the Delaware Education Support System Advisory, the Academic Framework Working Group and worked alongside many current members of the Personalized Learning Research Alliance. He aided the state in the selection and development of the Longitudinal Data System and the Education Insight Dashboards.
Dr. Klein has over 20 years of experience in using assessment data and leveraging technology to bring about positive outcomes for students. His research interests include the development and use of early warning systems in education, post-secondary educational attainment, student transience, and using formative evaluation methods for school improvement.
